Alien Warfront Demo release

Week 1: Concept and Planning

Embarking on this solo journey, I envisioned a strategy game inspired by Warpips and Guns Up. I brainstormed ideas, defined the core mechanics, and sketched out a rough storyline. The goal was to create an engaging and tactical experience.

Week 2: Prototyping

Prototyping began with the basic gameplay mechanics. I created simple models and tested the core gameplay loop, focusing on ensuring that the controls felt intuitive and responsive. Early tests were promising, setting a solid foundation for further development.

Week 3: Art and Design

I sourced external assets for 3D models and sounds, focusing my efforts on coding . The visual style began to take shape, bringing my vision to life with a 3d aesthetic.

Week 4: Development

I dove into implementing the core features. Significant progress was made on abilities and interactions with the environment. Bugs were squashed, and the game started to take shape.

Week 5: Playtesting and Feedback

I conducted the first round of playtesting with a small group of players. Their feedback was invaluable, helping me identify areas for improvement. I iterated on the gameplay based on their suggestions, refining the experience.

Week 6: Polishing and Refinement

This week was all about polishing the game. I refined the animations, improved the UI, and added sound effects. The game felt more cohesive and polished with each passing day.

Week 7: Final Touches

As I approached the final stages of development, I focused on adding the finishing touches. This included finalizing the soundtrack, optimizing performance, and preparing for the demo launch.
